On 23.02.2018 in the premises of the City of Skopje was held the fourth session of the Council for development of the Skopje Planning Region. The session was chaired by the President of the Council for Development of the Skopje Planning Region, the Mayor of the Municipality of Gazi Baba, Mr. Boris Georgievski and the Head of the Center for Development of the Skopje Planning Region Mr. Ms. Roseta Arsovska. The mayors from the Skopje region attended the session.

The SAMCODE project on the efficient management of construction waste in the SPR was presented at the session and information on completed IPA project for “Preparation of the necessary documentation for the establishment of an integrated financial self-sustaining waste management system in Pelagonija, Southwest, Vardar and Skopje planning region” was presented ” , after which a discussion was opened between the attendees.

At the session, the decision was made for the election of the President of the Inter-Municipal Board for Waste Management and the decision on the selection of technical persons within the inter-municipal board. Additionally, the Annual Working and Financial Report on the operation of the Center for Development of the Skopje Planning Region and the Report for the Implementation of the Program for Development of the SPR for 2017 were additionally adopted.
