On 09/11/2016 at the Skopje Fair held the sixteenth meeting of the Council for Development of Skopje Region. The meeting was chaired by President of the Council for Development of the Skopje region, Mayor of Gorce Petrov, Sokol Mitrevski. The meeting was attended by mayors of the municipalities in Skopje Region, representatives of the Local Economic Development and invited guests from the AD Vodostopanstvo of Republic of Macedonia, Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of Republic of Macedonia and a representative from the company Global Net.

According to the agenda of the meeting, were discussed eight points, the most important were: presentation of the Report and recommendations of the committee that worked to improve the conditions of canal network and river basins in Skopje region and implementation of the project “Preparation of necessary documents for the establishment of integrated financial system for sustainable waste management in Pelagonia, Southwest, Vardar and Skopje planning region” which is implemented by the Ministry of environment and Spatial planning of Republic of Macedonia

The session discussed the proposals and the projcet proposal of the Center for Development of Skopje planning region for applying to the Bureau for Regional Development / Ministry of envrionment and Spatial plaaning of Republik of Macedonia for 2017. The guests were presented a new innovative project “Web PORTAL – share office space”, realized through the business center of the Skopje planning region, and open call for grants that are implemented through IPA 2 program CBC between Republic of Macedonia and Republic of Kosovo and open call for grants from the Japanese government.
